Letter from the principal
Welcome to the STEM Prep family!
I am honored to be serving as principal of STEM Prep Elementary school and supporting your students as they enter the first chapter of their educational journey!
Our organization, has a clear mission to disrupt the status quo and to create opportunities for our students to thrive in STEM fields. This mission aims to strengthen our community by closing the socio-economic, ethnic, and gender gaps in STEM fields, and our students serving as role models who exhibit scholarliness, advocacy, perseverance, and kindness. We believe this starts in TK/Kindergarten classroom and is reflected within each of our classrooms TK-12.
We commit to providing your student with a rigorous education that engages students in critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration. We also commit to being family and supporting our students in their social emotional development.
We invite our families and community to partake in this mission with STEM nights, School Site Council, workshops, monthly coffee with the principal, and many other opportunities to get involved! I am very excited to begin this collaboration and to build relationships with all stakeholders.
Warmly and Sincerely,
